Wow, did I luck out staying at a vacation rental next door to this place! I stayed two nights and visited Crank and Dasher three times. Tried the wild blueberry goat cheese ice cream which is AMAZING - even brought home two pints... Highly recommend this place for the atmosphere, friendly service, location and unique delicious flavors... Bravo!!

This is the only ice cream shop that we have found that is safe for us to eat. We are both gluten intolerant and chemically sensitive. The additives that are in a lot of ice cream's make us sick. We make a point of taking a walk along the shore every year when we are visiting my sister in Duluth.
